Anti-Casualisation Day of Action

UoY UCU are participating in the above campaign by holding a drop in question and answer session hosted by Joanna de Groot (Chair of HE Committee, National UCU Vice-President, as well as our own branch vice-president). Joanna will be making a short presentation, and there will be ample opportunities to hold discussions and raise points/questions on any aspect of casual working. This will be of particular interest of course to those on fixed term contracts, and also PGWTs .

if any members have some spare time (yes I know haha) and would like to help in the current pensions campaign, please call into the union office, W/022 (Wentworth) between 2 pm and 4:30 on Thursday – we could really do with a few bodies to help us leaflet drop and put up posters – thanks in advance!
