A simple commentary from us on the current ballot:
Members in HE are currently being consulted on the final pay offer for 2015-16 of 1% from university employers with a recommendation to reject the offer and vote for industrial action. HE members should by now have received an e-ballot email to vote on the offer – otherwise please contact campaigns@ucu.org.uk
Following discussion at last week’s annual UCU congress, members in HE are due to be consulted on the final pay offer for 2015-16 of 1% from university employers. A consultative e-ballot of HE members will open next week with a recommendation to reject the offer and vote for industrial action – more information can be found here.
