The branch would like to give a great big thank you to Prof Bernard Kay, who has now retired from the University, for his sterling work over many years as a UCU departmental rep.  We hope he enjoys a long and happy retirement.  Thank you, Bernard, from all of us here at the branch.

We are extremely pleased to announce that UCU’s Head of Bargaining and Negotiations, Michael McNeill, has agreed to speak at a meeting we have organised for Tuesday 9th February, details below.

We look forward to seeing as many as possible there; the venue is the University’s brand new Environment Building, which has got to be a plus!  Tell everyone you can think of, members and non-members, as the event is open to all University staff, and we want as many people as possible to benefit from Michael’s expertise.
