Highlights from the meeting:
- Introduction to the new exec for 2026/27
- We donated £200 to the LSBU branch to support them in their industrial action
- We discussed the new PDR process, and particularly concerns over how the Community Without Limits framework is being used as part of it. Members are encouraged to contact the exec with their experiences of PDRs over the summer and into autumn.
- We discussed the prospect of further significant organisational changes in the near future, with recruitment of a new VC, the “strategy refresh”, and so on. Members are encouraged to respond to the recent survey “Shaping our future Vice-Chancellor”.
